Harrison is a newly accredited Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with over three years of industry accounting experience working with one of the largest privately held organizations in Canada. While being enrolled in CPA courses, he was drawn to the performance management aspect of the program which focuses on both financial and managerial accounting along with the importance of using analytics in decision-making.
This interest led Harrison to concentrate on performance management while being enrolled in the CPA education program and focus on how data analytics can be leveraged to support the overall financial objectives within organizations.
Before becoming a CPA, Harrison completed his undergraduate degree at Acadia University where he obtained a Bachelor in Business Administration with Cooperative Education and received the University Scholar designation. He grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada, but currently lives with his girlfriend in New Brunswick, Canada. Harrison has polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and is interested in the development and success of treatments that can help manage the disease.
